Stelarc's words are totally described the situation of the current society.People rely on the advanced technology and machine nowadays in their daily lives.It brings us convenience,a new vision and even a big step of human development that it would be impossible to live without that.The third hand,cyberbody,inter skin suits,ear on arm,to name but a few,are pushing the civilization in creating different parts of human body.

                                          The Third Hand

A mechanical human-like hand that is attached to the right arm as an additional hand.It is made to the dimensions of the real right hand.It can pinch-release,grasp-release,rotating the arm and a tactile feedback system for a sense of touch.The third hand has come to stand for a body of work that explored intimate interface of technology and prosthetic argumentation-not as a replacement but rather as an addition to the body.

It could help the people who have disability and improve their quality of living

Inter Dis-communication Machine

Equipment which exchange views between two persons. You can only see through the other person's eyes when you wear these machines, which forcibly put you in the other's place. These were made to obscure the border between identities of two persons.

These invention may seems funny and meaningless but it was a brand-new idea to see through other people eyes.It can trigger off more new thoughts to create things to make people deal with the problems in totally different ways and angles.

Indeed,technology bring us countless benefits.However, Did you think about the technology makes individual to be too individual?

Touchy is a human camera, who is blinded constantly until someone's touch enables the opening of the automated shutters. While a continuous physical contact is maintained between Touchy and a user, the camera shoots a photo every 10 seconds.

In the video,there had a caption that "Touch is a way of giving.".It means contrary to invite us to touch more technology products,we should more care about the people,the things other than  technology products.Technology could shorten the distance to other people but also can alienate from others depends on the way how we use it.It could never be possible that the technology could replace human totally ,so people should avoid being too dependent on technology.
